How a listing is made and kept

Who is listed

LumpList lists only companies that send crews to the customer's warehouse or dock to unload, load, sort, restack, palletize or rework freight.

A person reads each company's own website to decide.

Where listings come from

Most LumpList listings begin as research from public sources, checked by a person against the test above.

Until the agency claims it, a listing is marked Unclaimed: a record of the business, not a statement by it.

Claims

A claim on LumpList is verified by an email on the agency's own domain or a callback to its listed phone, and approved by a person.

Once claimed, the agency edits its own listing.

The results

What decides the order

How results are ordered

LumpList orders results by how directly an agency's Service Area covers the place searched and how well it matches the services and terms searched, then by how complete the listing is. A search by company name puts the closest name first.

Can an agency pay to rank higher?

No. On LumpList, claiming, being a LumpLogix customer or paying has no effect on order.

One labeled Featured row may sit above the results for a LumpLogix customer that genuinely matches. How placement works

Check it

Search any metro. A Featured row, when one appears, is labeled and sits alone above the results.

Market profiles

LumpList drafts each market profile from public sources, names the source of every fact, and has a person read it before the page can be indexed.

Quote requests

LumpList sends a quote request only to the agency it was sent to.

Contact details are emailed only to a claimed inbox or an address on the agency's own domain. Otherwise the request is held until the agency claims. Searching is anonymous.
